Born and raised in Mumbai, Mayuri Kataria is a photographer whose work explores the intersection between people, place, and tradition. Growing up in one of the world’s fastest-moving cities sparked a curiosity about the contrasting rhythms of life beyond the urban landscape.

Through journeys into rural environments, she developed a deep appreciation for the raw beauty of everyday life and the cultural narratives within it. Her practice is rooted in observation and visual storytelling, capturing fleeting moments, lived traditions, and the subtle textures of communities often overlooked in the rush of modernity.
